With the new Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program open for immigrants, it presents a multitude of features unlike any other immigration program that has been offered in the past. As amazing as all other programs have been for many individuals who were venturing to make their way into Canada, the new Nova Scotia PNP has opened job opportunities to areas which are not currently offered under any other immigration program. There are now options for high demand positions in healthcare, construction and other fields that will open many more doors.
For those in the healthcare industry, jobs that are in demand range from Specialist Physicians, general practitioners and family physicians. For those in the construction industry, there are positions open for machinists, industrial electricians, steamfitters/pipefitters and sheet metal workers. Other areas of work available under this program include user support technicians, financial auditors and accountants and insurance and claims examiners.
The above-mentioned fields do not include a number of other positions that are open under this program as well. They are there simply to illustrate the opportunities for applicants in those areas of work that are not available under the other Canadian immigration programs currently in effect. It is important to act quickly and apply if your occupation is available, like the other programs, there are quotas in every program in effect and there is no guarantee the program will re-open once the quotas have been met.
