This gives the chance for more individuals to obtain permanent residency in Canada.
Accountants in particular are encouraged to apply, as their occupatin is currently needed in Canada. To be an accountant in Canada, it is necessary that one have the required certification. Accountants who do not posess this certification can enroll in the program to become certified.
It is possible for accountants to come to Canada via other programs, such as the Provincial Nomination Programs. Applicants will be assessed using the same points system as in 2013, and will need to one year of relevant work experience in the field to be eligible to apply. A job offer is not required for the FSW program. However, it would allow the application to be fast-tracked.
